The AshoverVintage Festival of Light
We have been away in our caravan again, this time only a few miles from home it was a brilliant break and definitely recommended. We were away from Wednesday until Monday and the public camp site only cost £30 for the whole break , it is only basic but very well organised! The Festival was extremely enjoyable and there was plenty to keep us busy including the Conker Tournament and other Traditional activities. The official open timesFriday 30 September 6pm to 9pm Saturday 1st October 10am-9pm Sunday 2nd October 10am-3pmand we were surrounded by really friendly people and there was lots of activity all of the time. Ashover is in heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Countryside and very well placed for attraction such as Chatsworth House and Park, Haddon Hall. Also only a short distance from the Towns of Chesterfield with Crooked Spire, Bakewell which is renowned for the Traditional Country Monday Market.
We had a really good time and are looking forward to going back next October.
