My take on 'How do you do Pyrimarge?'

'How do you do Pyrimarge?'

Pyrimarge is probably one of the simplest forms of 3D crafting, if you imaging 4 identical pictures and leave the first picture as is, cut 1cm all the way around off the second, 2cm all the way around of the third and 3cm all the way around of the fourth picture. Apply Foam pads (do not remove backing at this stage) to the back of each picture, start with the 1st picture on the work surface in front of you, it is important that you can look down onto the picture! With the second picture line it up over the top (keep looking down on the picture) of first picture so that it matches up. This will show you the complete picture again but with a layering effect, once you are happy that you have it correctly placed carefully start taking the backing off your foam squares. Start taking the foam backing at one side of your picture, being careful not to move your picture too much, check your positioning before pressing down, some paper the shiny sort it is easier to reposition but Matt papers are not so forgiving. Basically carry on positioning each layer in the same way until you have a multi layered pyramid effect 3D picture. You then can remove the bottom layer foam pad backing and position it on your card. If you make a mistake don't worry there is such a thing as twisted Pyrimarge, which just mean each layer is just slightly twisted creating more of a cork screw 3D Picture, I am sure this came from someone making a mistake! :-)
