Hello everyone,
I am one of those people who does not like to throw things away "just in-case!" it might come in handy one day especially for crafting! I save the most bizarre articles, as my Family and Friends will confirm! Some not too politely I might add!
This last Christmas along with usual cards and labels, I thought of using sweet wrappers on cards, scrapbooking and to make beads!
For example, how about making stain glass windows on cards, out of those clear coloured sweet wrappers and covering ready made beads (formers to use the technical term!), you can make some beautiful jewellery.
Also, if you're lucky enough to have a nice box of Christmas Crackers, there are some beautiful bits and bobs on them, which ordinarily would be thrown in the bin, well not in our house or anyone who knows me house's too! I frequently receive little goodie bags of recycled crafty bits. Obviously you need to be careful if you're selling cards you make, that you are not breaching any copyright law!!!
So don't forget before you throw away, be imaginative and think about saving the planet, saving money and recycling!!
Happy crafting!
Linda
